French Connection Blazer & Avon Faux Wrap Dress
Last month after months of successfully saving & working on a tight budget to wipe out my debt I finally got to break my no clothes shopping rule. I needed to replace a blazer I had ruined but you know how us ladies are. I ended up buying not one but 2 blazers plus a few dresses. BUT on the bright side
they were all on sale so I still feel great about my purchases.
Featured in this outfit is one of the blazers I ordered. I loved the unusual cut! It's also very flattering and feminine. You cant tell in these photos but the back is actually higher than the front and rests just above my bum. I have an affinity for asymmetrical styles but I usually go for longer in the back and shorter in the front.
This dress is a golden oldie from Avon. The Also one of my favorites and the color looked great with the blazer. Coincidentally the lining of my handbag was also pink but that was totally unplanned.
For my shoes I'm wearing a black Pump. This is the only pair from them that I have that I don't hate. I don't wear them often because they seem deceptively comfortable at first but they were definitely not made for walking! For some strange reason, a few years ago I got crazy and bought a couple different pairs from this brand only to find that they weren't that comfortable or durable enough for my level of activity. This pair managed to weather what my family refers to as my hurricane movements (ie. a little sporadic & hurried. Plus when I'm moving everything in my wake gets destroyed.) but just barely.
